Friday Oct. 13th

It was my 1st start day for 2468. I found the journals very helpful.

I am going to weigh in every monday, I've been watching everyone and hope everyone
will continue to keep the 2468 going. At the end of goals we should send a pic to
each other.. if we are comforable. Here is what I ate today.

200 day

1 sm bite of beef jerkey (high in protein) 50c
4 bites of yogurt 30c total- 205
8 pcs of steamed cauliflower and broccoli 50c
1/2 small frozen waffle w/ dab of syrup 75c
1 cup of green tea 0c

It seemed a pretty simple day, no problems.,need to keep looking at the long term goal.
today will be harder, being saturday..my hubby is not a good influence on me, he eats
everything. I kind of blame him. I think if he had a better lifestyle I probably would
never have gained so much. It would be nice to have a partner that liked to eat smart and
work out. But oh, well. whine whine whine. anyhow...keep it going everyone.

Well today I am starting 2468 Oct.13 2006. I enjoy reading other peoples journals
on their weight loss, it is inspiring. I really enjoy "blue sky" Keep up the good work! Anyhow my journal may not be as interesting but i feel it will help me succeed w/ my goals. I am starting today so would love anyone else to start at the same time to help each other. I'll 1st start w/ a little history of myself. I am only 5'2 - which sucks, one lb looks and feels like 5 on taller people. I do have a good frame though. I currently weigh 142. Goal wt- 98. My extra wt. is a little everywhere so I can conceil it sometimes. The BAD part is I was only 15 lbs away from my goal wt- 5 years ago. AND I did it the right way- weights 4xwk, cardio 5xwk, and ate low carb high protein. So what happened? I got plain lazy, didnt go to the gym, ate anything I wanted and the days turned into months and years. Actually in some ways I am lucky I dont weigh more. Anyhow, some of you are probably wondering why not do the same thing again instead of 2468. I need to "kickstart" my body also I am ASHAMED and embarassed to go to the gym looking the way I do. I really had nice legs and butt. now i'm flabby- Yuch. During this journal I will wander alot, but it will be more interesting. My goal is not to get annorexic looking but to get thin and then fine tune my body w/ weights to still look healthy. Anyhow today I start its noon and I havent eaten yet. Since I'm only doing 200, I'm going to the grocery store later and stocking up. I've drank a lot of water already. I use to always drink lukewarm water... i think its better for your insides but people say drinking ice water burns more calories....mmm i'm not so sure so I'll try the cold for 1 month. I think warm water moves the insides better so you dont get constipated. Oh my goal date is Jan 13. Love to hear from any of you!! good luck!
